Why I cannot be myself

I've recently been trying to get my Google+ account set up but it looks like their names policy won't let me.
I would say "Why?".
Ever since I have been using Internet, I have been using the same name and goes as far back as 1997. Even before that I used this name in games and others but that seems to be invisible.
What really makes me outrageous is these names policies were set up because some people were abusing their position.

Well, never mind. Maybe one day I'll get through and will be able to keep my name like in Facebook, Twitter and any other service I use...
